This scholarship has been established following the creation of a dedicated fund by the South Australian government to support disadvantaged students at Flinders University. Its primary purpose is to support students with a disability who are undertaking a degree at Flinders University and are experiencing financial hardship.

Benefits
- Each scholarship will be valued at $6,000 per year for up to four years. The scholarship will be paid in instalments of $3,000 each semester, subject to the recipient maintaining eligibility. There will be five scholarships available per year.
Requirements
Scholarship recipients must:
- have an Access Plan registered with Health and Counselling services; or
- have requested an Access Plan with Health and Counselling services; and
- be an Australian Citizen, NZ Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, a Permanent Humanitarian visa holder, and
- be commencing an undergraduate degree; and
- be enrolled full-time at Flinders University*; and
- be in receipt of means-tested government payments or be able to demonstrate financial hardship.
* Recipients who have extenuating circumstances that prevent them from studying full-time (e.g. disabilities, illness, or carer responsibilities) may apply to hold their scholarship part-time subject to the provision of satisfactory independent documentation.
Selection Process
- Scholarship selection will be made based on academic merit and entry pathway.
- Selection of the candidate(s) will be made following procedures approved by the Director, Student Administration in consultation with Flinders Health and Counselling Service.
