The Destination Australia Scholarships have been established under the Commonwealth government’s Destination Australia Program. The purpose of which is to attract and support domestic students to study in regional Australia, to grow and develop regional Australian tertiary education providers and offer students a high quality learning experience.

Requirements
An applicant must:
- be commencing an approved degree at an approved regional campus of Flinders University*
- maintain ongoing residency in a regional area as defined by the 2016 Australian Statistical Geography Standard Remoteness Structure from the Australian Bureau of Statistics; and
- be enrolled full-time.
- Students (Australian or New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents and permanent humanitarian visa holders) must also demonstrate they belong to one of the following equity groups:
- First Nations People
- Students from low social-economic status
- Students who are first in family to undertake tertiary education
- Students living with a disability
*Approved courses and campuses:
- Bachelor of Nursing (Riverland)
Selection Process
- Selection will be based on academic merit.
