Agrifutures is committed to supporting the next generation of leaders that will drive the future prosperity of Australian rural industries and communities. The AgriFutures Horizon Scholarship is awarded to students studying an undergraduate degree with relevant majors which align to agriculture.

Benefits

• A bursary of $5000 per year for the final two years of your degree
• Professional development workshops
• Annual industry work placements aligned with the scholar’s areas of interest and their sponsor’s industry

Requirements

To be eligible to apply for the Horizon Scholarship:

• You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
• You must not have had more than a two-year gap between completion of your schooling and commencement of full-time study
• You must be enrolled full-time at an Australian university
• You must be entering into the last two years of an undergraduate degree with major studies and subject selections relevant to/aligned with agriculture.

Application Deadline

How To Apply

1. Click here to launch the K2 application portal. If you have an account, you will see green text saying, ‘email exists’ and can enter your contact details then click next to start your application.
2. If you don’t have an account, you will see ’email does not exist’ and will subsequently be able to send yourself a one-time pin number via email. Please check your junk/spam folder if you have not received the email with the code. Enter the pin number, create your password and then complete your contact information. Once completed, click next to start your application.
3. Enter your email address and log in.
4. Complete and submit your application, or save a draft application and return later. To save a draft, please click on ‘save draft’ at the bottom of the page. This will send a link to your email address, so you can log in and continue the application process when ready.
