University of Wollongong Kimberley Livingstone Memorial Scholarship in Nursing 2027

The Kimberley Livingstone Memorial Scholarship in Nursing supports students commencing their first year of Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) at the University of Wollongong in 2027. The scholarship is designed to support students experiencing financial or educational challenges, with consideration given to circumstances such as low income, rural or remote disadvantage, disability, refugee status and other forms of disadvantage.

Benefits

• In honor of Dr Livingstone, an annual $5,000 scholarship has been established to award a student commencing their first year in 2027 in Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) at UOW.

Requirements

• Applicants must be commencing in 2027 in a Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) degree at the University of Wollongong
• Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder
• Applicants must demonstrate financial and/or educational challenges. UOW also takes into consideration the following forms of educational challenges and applicant attributes when awarding equity scholarships: carer responsibilities; long-term medical condition/disability or ongoing effects of abuse; regional or remote disadvantage; sole parent responsibilities; refugee status and Indigenous Australians.
• Student with the highest cumulative disadvantage score, where recipients have equal scores, the academic merit will be considered
• Applicants must remain enrolled as a full-time student at the University of Wollongong for the duration of this scholarship
• The scholarship cannot be deferred
