2025 Victorian TAFE Network Hospitality & Cookery Scholarship Program

The Victorian TAFE Network Hospitality and Cookery scholarship program was introduced to address shortages of skilled labour in the Victorian hospitality industry in both regional and metropolitan Victoria and to support new talent with career opportunities.

Benefits

This scholarship is valued at $10,000 per successful applicant. The scholarship is paid at specific times during your course:

• $3,300 after starting your course, after the course census date, or within 11 weeks of starting your course with a satisfactory (80%) attendance
• $3,300 at approximately midway through your course
• $3,400 when you complete your course, receive your statement of attainment and complete your post-course survey.

Requirements

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must: 

• have an intention to enrol and complete the eligible course
  • Diploma of Hospitality Management*
  • Certificate IV in Kitchen Management*
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery*
• demonstrate ambition and willingness to work or have worked in the hospitality sector.
• have not previously received a Victorian TAFE Hospitality Scholarship.
• be an Australian citizen, permanent resident of Australia, or hold a permanent humanitarian visa and have the legal right to work in Australia.
