The Scape Accommodation Scholarship has been established to support UTS students experiencing financial and/or other educational disadvantages to gain access to subsidised and affordable housing for 12 months following the Scholarship being awarded.
Requirements
Be:
- an Australian or New Zealand citizen; or
- the holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa; or
- Have temporary asylum seeker or refugee residence status and hold a Temporary Protection Visa (subclass 785), or Safe Haven Enterprise Visa (subclass 790), Bridging Visa A - E and has made an application for a Protection Visa [1] or Temporary Humanitarian Concern Visa (subclass 786).
- Be commencing or continuing into one of the following courses in the session following selection:
- a UTS undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree; or
- a UTS postgraduate research degree; and
- enrolled or intending to enrol full-time in the Autumn session proceeding award.
