Benefits

For students commencing in 2025, UTS will pay for twenty percent (20%) of each Recipient’s UTS tuition fees for the course enrolled in for the duration of the Scholarship.

 For students commencing in 2026, UTS will pay for fifteen percent (15%) of each Recipient’s UTS tuition fees for the course enrolled in for the duration of the Scholarship. The Scholarship cannot be transferred, deferred or redeemed for cash.

Requirements

To be eligible for the Scholarship, an applicant must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Remain an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia); and
  • Meet all admission requirements for the selected UTS undergraduate (including Honours programs) or postgraduate coursework program; and
  • Commence full-time and on campus (Sydney); and
  • Must not be:
    • Studying a UTS online degree or distance degree; or
    • A citizen of a country in the South Asia region; or
    • A recipient of other UTS scholarships or grants or the UTS Alumni Advantage Program for the duration of this Scholarship and be a government sponsored student.

Interview Dates and Process

For undergraduate admission, academic merit in the qualification used as the basis of admission for entry into the selected UTS undergraduate program.

For postgraduate admission, academic merit in the most recently completed and recognised qualification or the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT Exam) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE General Test) (both tests accepted for admission into UTS Business School programs only) for entry into the selected postgraduate coursework program.

UTS Future Learner Recruitment and Admissions will automatically consider all commencing international students applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at UTS in Sydney for this Scholarship. There is no separate scholarship application or documentation in addition to what is required for the course application.

Offers will be authorised by UTS Future Learner Recruitment and Admissions.
