$5,000 for 1 year
Requirements
You're eligible if you:
- are a domestic student
- completed Year 12 in 2023 or 2024 at a high school in the Southern Downs Regional Council area, or, completed Year 12 as a boarder while having a permanent address in this regional area
- have not completed a program at the bachelor level or higher
- don't hold a similar scholarship.
And you:
- are enrolled or intending to enrol as a full-time student in one of the below programs in 2024:
- Bachelor of Architectural Design
- Bachelor of Design
- Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
- Engineering (Honours) / Master of Engineering
- Bachelor of Computer Science
- Bachelor of Information Technology
- or a dual program in any one of these programs.

Interview Dates and Process
In selecting successful applicants, UQ will consider:
- your interest in studying architecture, computer science, engineering or information technology
- academic achievement
- leadership achievement
- community service and engagement
- anything considered relevant for your future academic success.
