$5,000 for 1 year

Requirements

You're eligible if you:

• are a domestic student
• completed Year 12 in 2023 or 2024 at a high school in the Southern Downs Regional Council area, or, completed Year 12 as a boarder while having a permanent address in this regional area
• have not completed a program at the bachelor level or higher
• don't hold a similar scholarship.

And you:

• are enrolled or intending to enrol as a full-time student in one of the below programs in 2024:
  • Bachelor of Architectural Design
  • Bachelor of Design
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
  • Engineering (Honours) / Master of Engineering
  • Bachelor of Computer Science
  • Bachelor of Information Technology
  • or a dual program in any one of these programs.

Interview Dates and Process

In selecting successful applicants, UQ will consider:

• your interest in studying architecture, computer science, engineering or information technology
• academic achievement
• leadership achievement
• community service and engagement
• anything considered relevant for your future academic success.

• A copy of your recent Year 12 report.
