$10,000 per year. You may also receive up to $10,000 for travel support for approved opportunities.

Requirements

You're eligible if you:

• are an international student from one of the eligible countries.
• achieved a minimum 99.00 ATAR (or equivalent) for your Year 12 studies.
• completed Year 12 (or overseas equivalent) in the two year period prior to the year of award; and
  • have completed no more than 1 semester towards the approved program in the year of the award (see approved programs below); and/or
  • have not undertaken any tertiary studies at Bachelor level prior to enrolling in the approved program (special studies not included).

Selection Process

The University of Queensland will consider:

• evidence of academic and leadership achievement
• evidence of personal qualities including:
  • leadership potential, community service and/or engagement
  • alignment with the graduate attributes of the Liveris Academy
  • demonstrated commitment to academic excellence
  • demonstrated capacity and willingness to actively participate in, and positively contribute to, co-curricular activities at UQ
  • demonstrated strength of interest in undertaking co-curricular developmental activities through the Liveris Academy
• any other matter that the selection committee considers to your future success at UQ and in your subsequent career.

You'll need to prepare:

• a cover letter
• your resume
• responses to 2 provided questions
• a copy of your reports from Year 11, Semester 2 and Year 12, Semester 1 or, if you are a current student, your most recent studies report, and
• a 1-minute video in response to a provided question.
