The Scholarship was established in 2021 by funds received from a UQ Alumnus to encourage young UQ Chemical Engineering Graduates to study for a PhD at some of the world’s elite institutions overseas.

Requirements
You're eligible if you:
- are an Australian citizen
- are a UQ Chemical Engineering graduate
- are enrolled full-time to study a PhD program at a top globally ranked Institution for chemical engineering
- have already been awarded a full scholarship and accepted to undertake a PhD program at a top globally ranked Institution for chemical engineering
- have provided an outline of the travel proposal and budget.

You will need:
- a cover letter
- a resume
- a copy of your studies report from my-SI-net
- to provide details of your study towards your PhD at the Eligible Overseas Institution
- evidence of your acceptance to study for your PhD program at an Eligible Overseas Institution.
- evidence that you have received a full scholarship for your study at an Eligible Overseas Institution
