Requirements
You're eligible if you:
- are a citizen of Australia
- are a permanent resident of Australia (including humanitarian visas)
- are a citizen of New Zealand.
And you:
- intend to enrol as a commencing student in any undergraduate or associate degree program in the year the scholarship is awarded, or after an approved deferral of up to 2 years
- have not undertaken any prior tertiary study at bachelor level or higher
- have demonstrated significant financial disadvantage through achieving maximum points for the ‘Financial Hardship’ category of QTAC’s Educational Access Scheme.

- If you have completed the 'Financial Hardship' category within the Educational Access Scheme (EAS), you will be automatically assessed.
- You will need to provide all of the required supporting documents and information.
- For more information on how to apply please contact QTAC's directly by following this link.
What happens next:
- We'll email you to let you know you've been awarded the UQ Link scholarship.
- You'll have 5 entry rank adjustments automatically applied to any of your UQ preferences.
- In your first semester you'll receive $500 of the scholarship to help you with up-front costs. After this, the scholarship is paid in semester instalments.
