The UQ International Excellence Scholarship is funded by The University of Queensland (UQ). The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide assistance with tuition fees for high achieving international students who are commencing a relevant degree program at The University of Queensland in Semester 1 or 2, 2025.

Requirements
You're eligible if you:
And you:
- have received an unconditional offer to study full-time at UQ commencing Semester 1 or 2, 2025 in an eligible program. Check the scholarship terms and conditions (PDF, 164 KB) to find out if your program is eligible.
- have satisfied the program entry rank and English language proficiency requirements.
- have achieved a competitive score as determined by the University among the pool of offer holders for programs in their commencement semester.
- will enrol full-time.
And you have not:
- received another scholarship, tuition fee reduction or rebate from UQ.
- received a full scholarship/sponsorship from another organisation (applicants with partial scholarships/sponsorships may be considered).

- You don't need to apply for this scholarship. When you apply to study a program at UQ, you're automatically considered for this scholarship if you meet the eligibility criteria.
What happens next
- If you are eligible, we will notify you that you're offered this scholarship together with your letter of offer to study at UQ. In this notification, we will let you know what date you have to accept the scholarship by. If you're awarded the scholarship, the 25% tuition fee reduction will be applied prior to the tuition fees due date each semester.
