UQ Duchesne College Margaret McEniery Family Residential Scholarship Bursary 2026

Established in 2024 by the McEniery Family under the Create Change Scholarship Match Initiative, the annual distributions of the endowment support students experiencing financial hardship with the cost of residential fees at Duchesne College.

Benefits

  • $5,000 per annum (subject to the annual distribution from the relevant fund and may be more or less in some years)

Requirements

You're eligible if:

  • you are a domestic student in accordance with the University’s Fee Policy;
  • you are enrolled full-time in an Approved Program; 
  • you are a resident at Duchesne College; and
  • you can demonstrate financial hardship by providing documentary evidence.

Selection Process

Preference will be given to applicants who (in order of preference) –

  • are from a Regional, Rural or Remote Area;
  • are First in Family.

Application Documents

You'll need your:

  • QTAC reference number.
  • evidence of financial hardship such as Centrelink statements, ATO statements, family income etc. 
  • regional/rural/remote residency
