Requirements
- Applicants must intend to enrol in Phase 1 of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the UOW Wollongong, Shoalhaven or Southern Highlands Campus.
- Applicants must have completed their secondary schooling at a rural, regional or remote Australian public school - eligible rural regional or remote locations are defined as MM2-MM7 under the Modified Monash Model https://www.health.gov.au/resources/apps-and-tools/health-workforce-locator/app
- Applicants must provide a one page statement outlining their commitment to rural medicine and how the scholarship will assist with their future career ambitions.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder.
- Applicants must remain enrolled as a full-time student at the University of Wollongong for the duration of this scholarship.
- Successful applicants must maintain a minimum grade of Satisfactory.

Applicants are asked to provide a UOW Application Package, and a one page statement outlining their commitment to rural medicine and how the scholarship will assist with their future career ambitions.
