UNSW Scholarships for Asylum Seekers and Refugee Students Commencing Term 2 or 3, 2025

UNSW offers a number of scholarships to support Asylum Seekers and Refugee students undertaking full-time coursework study at UNSW. Some scholarships will full or partial tuition fee payment, while others provide a stipend to assist with the costs associated with your studies.

Minimum Value: $5,000 available for Duration of program (minimum)

Requirements

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be an Asylum Seeker or Refugee currently holding an eligible visa; and
  • Have received an offer of admission* into an eligible coursework program for Term 2 or 3 2025 by 15 July 2025.

Interview Dates and Process

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

  • Academic merit
  • Aptitude and commitment to studies at UNSW

  • Passport
  • Immicard
  • Titre de Voyage
  • PLO56 (M56)
  • Document For Travel To Australia (DFTTA)
