Benefits

To encourage and assist a high-achieving architecture student to pursue a Master of Architecture at the University.

Requirements

• Be a domestic student

• Have completed the requirements of a Bachelor of Design, Bachelor of Environmental Design or Bachelor of Arts with a degree-specific major in Architecture and

• Have applied, or have received an offer, for a place in the Master of Architecture (25520).

Interview Dates and Process

Based on academic achievement and interview.

• 1. By the selection body having regard to the applicants’ academic records
• 2. Eligible students will be shortlisted for an interview based on academic achievement and personal statement.
• 3. The School of Design will advise shortlisted candidates of the interview criteria.
• 4. Interview will address criteria and the question ‘As a future architect what contribution would you see yourself making to Perth’s built environment’.
• 5. Selection will be made on the recommendation selection panel having regarded students’ interview.

Criteria for continuation:

• The recipient must—

  (a) remain enrolled full-time unless there are exceptional circumstances2 in the Master of Architecture (25520);

  (b) make satisfactory progress in accordance with the rules for the course for which the scholarship is awarded;
