Requirements
You will need to:
- Be a citizen from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand or Vietnam
- Apply to The University of Western Australia as an international student on an Australian student visa
- Study an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate course offered by the University and published in the UWA Handbook
- Be enrolled to study a full-time course load
Interview Dates and Process
Selection is done by the selection body having regard to the candidates academic records. Academic achievement is determined by the applicants’ equivalent ATAR or WAM as determined by the University. In exceptional circumstances, the University may award the scholarship based on a predicted ATAR equivalent score.
Criteria for Continuation
The recipient must:
- continue to meet the eligibility requirements in clause 9.2 of these conditions;
- make satisfactory progress in accordance with the rule for the course for which the scholarship is award;
- maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 in the course for which the scholarship is awarded; and
- normally confirm twice annually, in the manner and by the dates specified by the University, that they continue to meet the eligibility requirements of the scholarship.
