University of Newcastle Joblink Plus Disability Scholarship 2026

In collaboration with the University of Newcastle’s Pathways and Academic Learning Support Centre, Joblink Plus has established this scholarship to support and facilitate inclusive, broad and equitable access to university for people who may not otherwise have a connection to tertiary education.

Benefits

The scholarship provides a total benefit of $8,000 to be paid as two lump sums of $4000 after the relevant census dates.

Requirements

  • Be enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree program at the University of Newcastle.
  • Demonstrate that your ability to study is affected, or will be affected, by a long term medical condition/disability or ongoing effects of abuse (please see definition in attached conditions document).
  • Be an Australian citizen or an Australian permanent resident (including holders of a permanent humanitarian visa and New Zealand citizens with permanent residency).
  • Not be the recipient of another University of Newcastle donor-funded or sponsored scholarship concurrently.
