Benefits

This scholarship provides a fortnightly stipend with a rate of $50,000 per year (full-time student rate) for 3.5 years.

Requirements

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

• Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
• Have applied for and met the entry requirements for Doctor of Philosophy – Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences in the field of asthma research
• Have a registered principal supervisor in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
• Have not completed a Doctor of Philosophy or held a graduate research scholarship previously
• Commence their PhD in the calendar year of the offer

Selection Process

The scholarship is offered to eligible students who are ranked highest by the selection panel based on their research potential in the field of asthma research and their average result for prior study.

Application Deadline

How To Apply

Students who have applied for admission by the advertised Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences Round 2 application date will be automatically considered for this scholarship.
