Benefits

This scholarship provides a stipend with a rate of $11,250 per year for up to two years for students undertaking a masters by research degree or up to 3.5 years for students undertaking a doctoral degree. The duration will be reduced by any study completed towards their course prior to receiving the scholarship.

Requirements

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be enrolled in a graduate research degree with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering or its successor
  • Be undertaking research in fields related to communication systems
  • Have completed 1 year or less of their candidature.

Conditions

This scholarship is subject to the University's Graduate Research Scholarship Terms and Conditions and cannot be deferred to the following year. In addition, students must agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and to provide a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.

Interview Dates and Process

The scholarship is offered to the student who is ranked highest by the selection panel based on their personal statement and supporting documents.
