The Charles Qin Translation and Interpreting Scholarship is awarded to talented domestic students who are enrolled in a Master of Translating and Interpreting. Preference is given to students who have completed a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Chinese Studies at the University of Melbourne.

Benefits
- This scholarship provides a living allowance of $15,000 per year for two years, paid in half-yearly instalments of $7500 in April and September.
Requirements
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident
- Have applied for and met requirements for the Master of Translating and Interpreting.
Selection Process
- The scholarship is offered to the student(s) ranked highest based on their course entry score.
- Preference is given to students who have completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne with a major in Chinese Studies.
- In the event of a tie, the scholarship will be awarded to the student with the highest weighted average mark for third-year subjects in the bachelor degree.
