University of Melbourne Biomedicine Access Scholarship 2025

The Biomedicine Access Scholarship is supported by the School of Biomedical Sciences and offered to domestic students who are commencing the Bachelor of Biomedicine and are experiencing disadvantaged circumstances. Preference is given to Indigenous students, students from regional or remote areas, and students who are experiencing financial difficulties.

Benefits

The scholarship provides a one-off payment of $5000 in September (Mid year intake).

Requirements

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident
• Have applied for the Bachelor of Biomedicine via the VTAC Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS)
• Meet the Access Melbourne entry requirements for Bachelor of Biomedicine

Conditions

• This scholarship cannot be deferred to the following year.
• Indigenous students must affirm and maintain their eligibility for support for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. See: Confirming your eligibility
