University of Melbourne Airwallex Excellence in Technology Undergraduate Scholarship 2026

The Airwallex Excellence in Technology Scholarship was established with a gift from Airwallex and is awarded to talented students who are enrolled in a major in Computing and Software Systems. Preference is given to students who can demonstrate a passion and career aspiration to apply technology for social impact.

Benefits

• This scholarship provides a living allowance of $15,000 per year for two years.

Requirements

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

• Be enrolled in the Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science (Extended) or Bachelor of Design, with a major in Computing and Software Systems in the year for which the scholarship is awarded
• Have completed at least 100 credit points but fewer than 150 credit points of study
• Have achieved a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 80 in your current degree.

Selection Process

• The scholarship is offered to the eligible candidate(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their Weighted Average Mark (WAM) for the course and their personal statement.
• Preference is given to candidates who can demonstrate a passion and career aspiration to apply technology for social impact, if ranked in the top 50 per cent.

• A personal statement addressing your passion for technology and its commercial applications, your interest in and understanding of global financial platforms, and the impact the scholarship will have on enabling you to achieve your educational and professional goals
• Copy of your most recent statement of results
• Curriculum vitae.
