Raymond McMillan received a scholarship to attend the University of Adelaide and graduated with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering in 1949. McMillan Constructions Pty Ltd, the company Raymond founded, are honouring Raymond’s memory by providing a similar opportunity for a South Australian to attend University, supporting and retaining top talent in the State.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in first or second year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)(Civil) program of study including associated double or combined programs
• Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia, or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa
• Be enrolled on a full time basis in a Commonwealth Supported Place
• Demonstrate you are in financial need*

Selection Process

Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:

• Academic merit (GPA)
• Financial need
• Answers to questions on the application form
• Preference will be given to students who have completed their high school education in South Australia, or have lived in South Australia for a minimum of three years prior to scholarship application
