The Mymobility Scholarship is funded by Zimmer Biomet to support a full-time PhD student who is commencing research in orthopaedics and patient monitoring. Mymobility was developed by Zimmer Biomet to empower clinicians and patients to better understand physical function following total knee and hip replacement. We are seeking a motivated student with demonstrated experience or interest in research to investigate the acceptability of Mymobility as a digital rehabilitation tool and then subsequently investigate the healthcare costs across public and private hospitals in Australia.
Expressions of interest should be submitted to Professor Dominic Thewlis (email: [email protected]) by no later than 1/10/2025 with the name of scholarship in the subject heading. Applications will be assessed as and when received and the PhD position may be filled ahead of this date if the suitable candidate is identified.
