The Dame Roma Mitchell Scholarship was established from the generosity of members of the South Australian legal fraternity and the proceeds of the Portrait of John Bray and Dame Roma Glimpses of a Glorious Life Volumes.
This scholarship will support a student who will be undertaking a human rights internship as part of their Bachelor of Laws.

Requirements
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must:
- Be undertaking the Bachelor of Laws program
- Be an Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia, New Zealand Citizen or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa
- Be enrolled in an internship related to human rights law as part of the Bachelor of Law degree
- Demonstrate you are in financial need
Selection Process
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Academic merit (GPA)
- Financial need
- Answers to questions on the application form
