The University is focused on the inclusion of sexually and gender diverse identities, including but not limited to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and asexual (LGBTIQA+). Offered for the first time in Study Period 2, 2023, the UniSC LGBTIQA+ Bursary provides financial support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and asexual (LGBTIQA+) students enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programs at UniSC.
The bursary is intended to recognise the efforts of a current student who contributes to an inclusive culture and assists in promoting awareness and understanding of issues that may affect people of diverse genders and sexualities.
