The University of the Sunshine Coast offers equity bursaries to assist students from recognised equity groups such as people from low socio-economic circumstances, people with a disability or ongoing health issues which affect studies, Indigenous students, refugees etc.

Benefits
- A$2,500 for one study period for applicants who are assessed as having the highest level of financial and/or personal hardship considerations. Pro-rata rate will apply if recipient is enrolled in a part-time study load (24 units).
- A$1,000 for one study period for applicants who are assessed as having a high level of financial and/or personal hardship considerations.
Requirements
- Domestic students enrolled in full-time study*
- Any undergraduate degree program at UniSC
- Satisfactory academic progress (minimum GPA of 4.0)
- Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, Permanent Australian Humanitarian Visa holder; or Permanent Resident of Australia
Please note, students who receive the Equity Bursary and withdraw from their studies in two consecutive study periods will not be eligible to receive an Equity Bursary payment in the subsequent study period.
