This scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a PhD student who is undertaking research in Generative AI attacks on workers freedom of association in Southeast Asia.

Benefits

• The Scholarship recipient will be offered two scholarships:
  • a PhD scholarship funded by the ARC project
  • Business School Supplementary Research Scholarship (BSSRS).
• Maximum tenure is 14 research periods, subject to satisfactory academic performance.
• Benefits provided by these scholarships are:
  • a total stipend allowance of $42,754 (2026 rate, indexed yearly) per annum 
  • student services and amenities fee (SSAF)
  • tuition fee (for international student only)

Requirements

You must:

• be a domestic or international student
• be a full-time student
• be applying to study or currently enrolled in a PhD at the University of Sydney Business School
• conduct research and produce a thesis related to the awarded project.
