The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide financial support and encouragement to commencing undergraduate Bachelor of Philosophy students enrolled at The University of Notre Dame Australia (University), who have demonstrated academic excellence and a passion for philosophy.

Benefits

The value of the Scholarship will be $20,000, for the duration of the scholarship. One scholarship is available per year.

Requirements

To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a Australian Citizen; and
• Be commencing undergraduate studies in the Bachelor of Philosophy, at the University.

Interview Dates and Process

The Scholarship is awarded to the applicant who, in the opinion of the Selection Committee, best demonstrates through their application and supporting documentation:

• Academic merit; and
• Personal qualities and motivation.

Selection must be undertaken by the Notre Dame Scholarships Selection Committee.
Selections will be made based on assessment of the application and any supporting documentation required.
All applicants will be notified of an outcome via email.

The University reserves the right not to award the scholarship.
