St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nursing Scholarship 2026

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne has been providing compassionate health care for more than 75 years. This Scholarship was established in 2010 to create opportunities for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students studying at the Melbourne or Ballarat campus to pursue studies in nursing. Recipients are given the opportunity to complete their graduate year at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne.

Benefits

  • This scholarship is valued at up to $15,000, to be paid in instalments of $2,500 per semester for the duration of a three-year course and $1,875 for the duration of a four-year course. A pro-rata (partial) payment is calculated for part-time enrolment.
  •  The recipient will also have the opportunity to complete their graduate year at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne.

Requirements

  • Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students (Confirmation of Aboriginality will be required)
  • Faculty: Health Sciences
  • Course: Semester 1, 2026 enrolment in one of the following: 
    • Bachelor of Nursing
    • Bachelor of Midwifery
    • Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Paramedicine
  • Campus: Melbourne or Ballarat
