Requirements

1. Be in a Commonwealth-supported place.
2. Be commencing any full-time Bachelor’s degree at Southern Cross University in Term 1.
3. Have achieved a minimum ATAR (IB Diploma score equivalent) of 80 and above.
4. Will have demonstrable financial and/or educational barriers to university entry.
5. Not in receipt of another Southern Cross University-funded scholarship.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on consideration of the following factors:

• ATAR or ATAR equivalent achieved in 2025 year 12 studies.
• Degree of disadvantage faced by the student.

Application Deadline

How To Apply

To be considered for the Resilience Merit Scholarship, students must demonstrate educational barriers. To meet this requirement students will have done one or more of the following:

• Have an assessed application for a Southern Cross University Equity Scholarship
• Have an accepted registration with Southern Cross University Inclusion Support
• Have provided meritorious responses to questions relating to hardship on their scholarship application. See Applying for a scholarship for more information.
