Join a groundbreaking research initiative investigating how personal networks shape how people prepare for and respond to compound natural hazard risks. Consecutive disasters - such as sequential floods or cyclones followed by heavy rainfall - are becoming more frequent and disruptive as climate change intensifies. While infrastructure and early-warning systems are vital, people's personal networks - the informal and formal social ties that connect us - are among the most powerful, yet least understood, tools for building resilience.
