Which Way? Quit Pack project is the largest national smoking and vaping cessation trial ever conducted with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Research Focus:
This Indigenous-led national research project evaluates a mailed-out smoking and vaping cessation intervention for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adolescents and adults. The PhD project will contribute to the implementation science and evaluation components of this program, which is grounded in principles of Indigenous data sovereignty, self-determination, and health equity.
A scholarship is available for 3-3.5 years. Eligible students will receive the Professor Lowitja O’Donoghue Indigenous Student Postgraduate Research Scholarship rate, currently $50,000 p.a. Flinders University will provide laptop, tuition fees and project costs.
