2026 RMIT University Dylan Alcott Foundation Scholarship

Applications are now open for the RMIT University Dylan Alcott Foundation Scholarship 2026. For undergraduate students with a disability, long-term medical or neurodiverse condition which impacts their study; worth up to $15,000.

Benefits

This scholarship provides:

  • For full-time enrolled students up to $10,000 per year (up to $5,000 per semester) for up to one and a half years
  • For part-time enrolled students up to $5,000 per year (up to $2,500 per semester) for up to three years

Payment of this scholarship is divided per below:

  • Up to half towards tuition fees, and
  • Up to half paid directly to the student as a stipend (study/living allowance) each semester

Requirements

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident or permanent humanitarian, temporary protection visa holder, asylum seeker, or an international student
  • be able to demonstrate that you have a disability, long-term medical or neurodiverse condition which impacts your ability to study
  • be under the age of 26 at the time of application
  • be enrolling full-time or part-time in semester 1 2026 in an associate or bachelor's degree at RMIT University
  • be able to demonstrate circumstance/s which impact your ability to study such as:
    • receiving a government tested low income benefit or having a Centrelink Health Care Card
    • experiencing personal/family/social difficulties
    • be from an interstate or rural/regional area and moving/moved to Melbourne to study at RMIT
    • have previously/are currently living in foster/kinship care or are a ward of the state
    • be from an under-represented background such as
      • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
      • were born overseas, are from a non-English background and recently permanently migrated to Australia
      • current or former refugee
      • completed secondary school at a School Network Access Program school
  • be residing in Australia
