You'll receive a scholarship valued at $10,000, paid as a one-off research allowance.
Requirements
To apply for this scholarship, you must be:
- a current research student at QUT, enrolled either full-time or part-time in a research degree (i.e. Doctor of Philosophy, Professional Doctorate, or Master of Philosophy)
- pursuing research in science and engineering that help us thrive
- this encompasses all spheres of endeavour including (but not limited to) physics, chemistry, biology, aerosol science, aerobiology, engineering, and data science
- have completed at least the first milestone of your research degree.
Application Documents
Include the following attachments:
- a copy of your resume / curriculum vitae (CV), including research outputs such as conference presentations, posters, publications (please include DOIs where applicable)
- a research proposal detailing the impact of your research and how the scholarship funds will be used
- a completed Postgraduate Student IP Assignment and Confidentiality Deed
- a QUT Confirmation of Enrolment letter, which must include:
- student number
- research degree name and course type
- thesis title
- faculty, school and supervisors
- degree start date, and current consumed load
- milestone dates and status
- maximum candidature date
- approval leave of absence dates
- any scholarship/sponsorships already held.
