QUT - Equity Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Bursaries 2025

If you're completing a work integrated learning (WIL) placement and experiencing financial hardship, you may be eligible for a bursary.

Benefits

You'll receive a once-off payment of either $300, $500, $750 or $1000, based on your demonstrated need.

Requirements

You must be:

  • enrolled in the current semester
  • undertaking a work integrated learning (WIL) placement
  • struggling financially and unable to meet the costs of placement
  • able to demonstrate genuine financial hardship
  • have no access to savings or other means of financial support.

Application Documents

Bring the following documentation to your appointment:

  • Individual transaction histories for all your bank accounts, covering the last two months.
  • Proof of income (if not demonstrated in bank statements).
  • Your fortnightly budget and anticipated placement costs.
  • Proof of income of parent(s)/caregiver(s), if financially dependent.
  • Proof of income of spouse/partner, if applicable.
  • Centrelink income statement (domestic students only).
  • Documentation confirming placement expenses (documents may be verified as part of the assessment process).

If you are not eligible for the Equity WIL Bursary, we can help you explore how you can meet the costs of your work integrated learning.

How To Apply

Make an appointment with a support and wellbeing advisor in Student Services. They will assess your financial situation and determine your eligibility for the Equity WIL Bursary. All appointments are confidential and free.
