QUT Dace Dambergs Social Work Scholarship 2025

For Dace Dambergs, a migrant from war-torn Latvia, gaining an education at QUT was a turning point in her life. Completing her Bachelor of Social Science lead Dace down an inspiring path, describing her decision to study at QUT as a mature age student as life-changing.

Dace's gratitude, strength and determination flows through her to the next generation, through her bequeathment to support QUT student scholarships to provide 'opportunities for others, similar to myself, to achieve their dreams.'

Requirements

To apply for this scholarship, you must be:

• enrolled as a domestic-fee paying student
• at least 25 years of age
• from a non-English speaking background (i.e. European, African, Asian, Central or South American, Papua New Guinea, Pacific Islands), refugee background or Indigenous Australian.
