The School of Medical Sciences is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to apply and refine their expertise in research methodologies, design and delivery to contribute to the university’s standing as a national leader in the discipline. The role involves conducting high-quality research independently or as part of a research team, contributing to scholarly outputs, and supporting the development of collaborative research initiatives that deliver research impact.

Benefits

• Base Salary starting at $127,436 pro rata + 17% superannuation 

Requirements

• PhD in a relevant field
• demonstrated experience designing and managing research databases (including REDCap)
• demonstrated high-level proficiency in R (or equivalent statistical coding environment) for analysis of large, complex datasets
• demonstrated experience working with human research data in a regulated research environment
• excellent written and verbal scientific communication skills
• demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary research teams.

Highly desirable:

• prior experience in CTE or neurodegeneration research
• experience analysing high-dimensional ‘omics datasets.
