PhD Scholarship – What is reproductive wellbeing? at Monash University 2026

This qualitative PhD project offers the opportunity to explore women’s perspectives on reproductive wellbeing through in?depth interviews with women of reproductive age across Australia. The insights generated will inform the co?design of more responsive, patient?centred health services and contribute to policy initiatives that advance reproductive autonomy and equity. This project is ideal for those who are interested in qualitative research and are passionate about health equity and creating real?world impact in women’s sexual and reproductive health care.

Benefits

• The successful applicant will receive a tax-free stipend, at the current value of $37,145 per annum 2026 full-time rate, as per the Monash Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend.
• It is desirable for applicants to either be a health care practitioner or psychologist. Successful candidates who meet this criterion will be eligible for an additional stipend of $5000/year (maximum $15,000 for the duration of the scholarship) on top of the current full-time rate for a Monash RTP stipend.
