The Faculty of Education is offering the Thomas Shadrach James Indigenous Scholarship for Indigenous students wanting to study a Bachelor of Education (Hons). This scholarship is made in honour of Thomas Shadrach James, an inspirational teacher loved and respected by his adopted Yorta-Yorta people, and who influenced generations of changemakers.

Benefits
- $3,985 paid towards tuition fees per annum for up to four years.
- $16,000 paid in cash per annum for up to four years.
Requirements
You must be one of the following:
You must meet the following criteria:
- Commencing (Yr 12) student intending to enrol in the Bachelor of Education (Honours) single or double degree in the Faculty of Education at a Monash campus in Australia.
- You must have accepted your course offer and be enrolled in a full-time load.
- To be eligible you must provide a Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate or a certified Statutory Declaration form to the William Cooper Institute.
