This Scholarship is to honour the important role that David Shugg played in the professionalism of paramedics. Throughout David’s career, he advanced and embedded professionalism in paramedic training and education in the setting of emergency primary health care. In his legacy this Scholarship aims to support the next generation of leaders in paramedicine.

Benefits
- $10,000 paid in two instalments for one year.
Requirements
You must be one of the following:
- An Australian citizen
- A New Zealand citizen
- Australian permanent resident
- Australian humanitarian visa holder
- An International student
You must meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled in the Bachelor of Paramedicine (Honours) M3707 in the Department of Paramedicine at a Monash campus in Australia.
- Have a WAM 80+ (Current students).
Selection Process
- Awarded based on academic achievement.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and participation in industry experience.
To retain this scholarship:
- You must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 each semester.
