The Northern Territory's Gender Equality Statement of Commitment commits to increasing the number of people in trades and occupations not traditional for their gender.
Improving economic security for all Territorians is also a commitment of the Gender Equality Action Plan and these industries are all suffering staffing shortages which increases opportunities for those entering these professions.
