Macquarie University Full PhD Scholarship for CMOS Design 2027

The SiP Lab at Macquarie University is offering two fully-funded PhD scholarships. The scholarship aims to develop a new generation of mixed signal silicon chips for chiplet based applications.

The PhD candidate will be part of an industry-supported research group that will enable the use of last generations of ultra-low power and nanoscale chips for high performance applications in various networks.

Benefits

The scholarship comprises:

• a tuition fee offset/scholarship
• a living allowance stipend.

The value of each stipend scholarship is $39,700 per annum (full time, indexed) for three years.

In addition, you may be eligible for an industry top-up of up to $20,000 with our industry partner Atto Devices, based on level of experience.

Requirements

• Applicants for graduate research scholarships at Macquarie University must meet the minimum entry criteria to the relevant course of study and should review the available courses listed for each scholarship on the scholarship search tool when considering their application.
• Macquarie University assesses and ranks applicants based primarily on academic merit and research experience. Alignment of the proposed research topic with the University’s research priorities and the strength of the supervisory team may also be considered.
