While traditional scholarships focus mainly on high-achieving school leavers, the Regional Achievement Scholarship deliberately expands the reach to include non-school leavers and postgraduate students who are originating from a regional or metro area.

Benefits
$7000 per annum for duration of course.
Requirements
- Be an Australian citizen.
- be a non-school leaver (also known as a mature-age student e.g. not completing Year 12 in 2025).
- have applied for a hybrid or face to face course via the 2025-2026 VTAC/UAC (or state Tertiary Admissions Centre) intake, or via a direct course application to La Trobe University. Please note: Online courses are not eligible for this scholarship.
- have met all the subject-specific prerequisites and enrol at one of La Trobe's regional campuses.
For Undergraduate entry:
- Students entering higher education from TAFE/VET pathways and/or complete or incomplete higher education study.
For Postgraduate entry:
- High-performing graduates with a strong WAM/GPA record, who may be considering study in regional campuses.
- Students with professional experience but requiring postgraduate qualifications.

- There is no application process for this scholarship.
- To be considered you must list a regional or hybrid course on your VTAC/UAC (or state Tertiary Admissions Centre) course preference list OR apply for a course direct through La Trobe University.
