This scholarship supports a PhD project focused on developing antibacterial films from recycled plastics and insulation materials from recycled textiles. The project combines materials science, sustainability, and nanotechnology to address challenges in public health and environmental conservation. The successful candidate will work with La Trobe University and industry partner Goldrec Australia Pty Ltd.

- Not be receiving another scholarship greater than 75 per cent of the stipend rate for the same purpose.

- Please note: As part of your application, you are not required to identify a potential supervisor. Dr. Avinash Baji and Professor Ing Kong are the designated supervisors for this project.
- Preferred applicants will also be required to attend an interview along with the Industry and Academic Supervisors.
- The University will carefully review your application and consider you for this scholarship. The successful candidate will be made an offer for candidature and scholarship.
