The scholarship provides:
- $10,000 for one year
- An opportunity for paid work during the vacation period
- An opportunity to undertake a paid cadetship.
Requirements
To be eligible for this scholarship you must:
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident, or a permanent humanitarian visa holder
- be enrolling full-time in your second, third or fourth year of study in the Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) (BH114) in semester 1 and 2 2026
- have a Grade Point Average (GPA) to date of 2.7 or higher at the end of semester 2 2025
- be able to demonstrate circumstance/s which impact your ability to study such as:
- receiving a government tested low income benefit or having a Centrelink Health Care Card
- living with a disability, long-term medical condition or identify as neurodiverse
- experiencing personal/family/social difficulties
- have previously/are currently living in foster/kinship care or are a ward of the state
- be from an under-represented cohort such as
- identify as a woman or non-binary in a male-dominated industry
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- current or former refugee
- completed secondary school at a?School Network Access Program?school
- be willing to participate in a paid cadetship at Kapitol Group
- be willing to participate in paid vacation work at Kapitol Group
- be willing to participate in an interview with a representative of Kapitol Group, if shortlisted*.

Selection Process
- The scholarship application process is highly competitive with a limited number of scholarships available. Unfortunately, not all eligible applicants will receive one.
- Only successful candidates will be notified via email to their RMIT student account.
Application Documents
Depending on your circumstances, you will need to provide different types of evidence and material to support your scholarship application. Applications without supporting documents will not be considered.
You will need:
- A cover letter (no more than 1 page) describing why you would like to work for Kapitol Group
- A current curriculum vitae (CV) or resume no more than two pages in length. Visit the RMIT’s Careers team online resources for building your own resume (CV)
