Benefits

The value of the scholarship is $2,000 paid in one installment after census date of the trimester closest to awarding date. Please allow up to 6 weeks after census date for payment.

Requirements

The JCU School of Business – Rugby Union Scholarship is open for you to apply if you:

• Are a domestic student;
• Commencing studies at JCU;
• Enrolled, or intending to enroll, full time at the JCU Townsville, Bebegu Yumba campus;
• Studying Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business (including all dual degrees);
• Have displayed excellence in the sport of rugby union, demonstrated by participation at local club and representative levels.

Selection Process

The award of the scholarship will be made in the absolute discretion of the Selection Committee, which shall comprise:

• Adj Prof Colin Dwyer (Chair);
• John Carey (Wilson Ryan & Gross);
• David Gusmarolli (Moduline Kitchens).
