Griffith offers these respected scholarships to outstanding students commencing their first-ever undergraduate degree in 2026. The Vice Chancellor's Academic Achievement Scholarships will be focused on excellence and will also consider the barriers to education that students have faced. Scholarship recipients will also be offered membership to the Student Academy of Excellence.

Benefits
- $15,000 for a single degree (240 CP)

Requirements
To be eligible, you must:
- be either:
- an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa holder
- an Australian Permanent Resident, New Zealand Citizen or international student who is completing or has completed Years 11 and 12 in Australia
- be a student commencing university for the first time in Trimester 1 2026
- have not undertaken/commenced any tertiary study (bachelor degree or postgraduate degree), with the exception of that undertaken as part of Year 11–12 studies (e.g. Enhanced Studies program, Head Start)
- have applied to commence at Griffith University in Trimester 1 2026 through either Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC); Universities Admission Centre (UAC), or via direct entry
- receive an unadjusted ATAR of 95.45 or above (or equivalent rank OP 3 or above, and IB 37 or above). Griffith may use your Educational Disadvantage Assessment score* to adjust your ATAR rank.
