This scholarship supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students studying the Bachelor of Business, Business Economics, or Commerce at Flinders University, helping them to advance their business knowledge and skills.
Team Leader of the Native Title, Resources and Renewable Energy Team at Normans Waterhouse lawyers, Nick Llewellyn-Jones identified a need to develop greater Indigenous representation in commercial negotiation and business decision-making especially for projects and major developments which are undertaken on Native Title land.
The Scholarship has been established through a generous donation from Nick Llewellyn-Jones.
Each Scholarship will have a value of $10,000 per annum to be paid in equal instalments after the census date of each semester.
One Scholarship will be available per annum for the duration of the funding period.

The Scholarship selection will be based on academic merit and demonstrated interest in a career in business.
Selection of the candidate(s) will be made following procedures approved by the Director, Student Administration in consultation with the Office of Indigenous Strategy and Engagement.
